Lionheart had started wandering in a daze, thinking of possible ways that the Old Dardus could be recovered from the thrashed ruins that that Witch left of his mind.
That's when he crashed into a speeding person.
(Thats you btw XD)

Valdrin did a backwards saomersault at the impact and landed in a deep crouch staring up at the intruder. He looked up at him with a hard edge in his serpintine eyes. The moon causing his skin to blaze a faded indigo like old paint on a grey canvas.

Lionheart, for his credit, was able to keep upright. He skidded back a few feet, but was not as gracefully if it had happened when he was aware. His bright orange hair glowed in the moonlight and his deep blue eyes shining dark depths of wisdom that comes with old age.
"I am sorry, I was ...... distracted."
The man was very interesting, he had not seen his kind in awhile.

Valdrin stood slowly and dusted himself off. He shook his head causing his hair to tangle around his face which he irritably pushed aside.
"It's alright Sir. I was much distracted myself. I've been feeling a bit off these last few days."
He shook his head and looked down to examine his feet.

(I believe you meet feet, so I'll keep going.)
Lionheart ran a hand though his hair, and, finding his own hair-tie, pulled on the knot and offered it to the hair-troubled man.
"I have some basic knowledge of medicine, would you like to talk about it? I'll buy you a drink, my apology for crashing into you."

Val took the tie with a nod and used it to pull his hair into a tangled half bun. It was to long to manage anything proper. Val shook his head at the thought.
"You wouldn't mind? I think I could use someone to talk to bout this with the day I'm having."

Lionheart smiled at the man and nodded, waving as he left to signal that he should follow.
He took the man to one of the better pubs in town. He may not look it, with his long-puffy-sleeved white tunic, brown traveler's pants, and knee-high laced dark brown worn leather boots, he had a small fortune that even some high nobles would be envious of. Hey, being alive as long as he has has some perks.
He sat down at the stool in a more reculused corner, and motion for the man to sit next to him. "So what will you have, Urr. How impolite, I did not introduce myself. My name is Lionheart."

"I'm Valdrin. Uhm...Valdrin of the Line Kenswell," he shrugged, "And I'm good on drink. Water in these places is brackish and wine piss. On topsy I've never had a taste for ale.
He smiled lightly and returned again to looking down this time focusing on his hands.

Lionheart hid his surprise perfectly.
He had meet the Line Kenswell before, thought it had been many a millennium ago.
He smiled again "So tell me Valdrin, what clouds your mind?" he asked, leaning on the counter.

Valdrin shoved his hands at the man uncermoniously.
"That is. It's like ink or dye, but I haven't touched the stuff and it's bloody well spreading like a cancer. I don't know whats wrong with me! Grandfather might, but he is far from here and we are not on wonderful terms as of late."
He turned is head aside. This place was odd. The city held a weird air about it and it put him a bit on edge. For a warrior that was never good.

Lionheart gently turned the young man's hands over and back, trying to get a better judge of the strange anomaly.
He sighed "I am very sorry, but I have not seen this before and I am afraid that I have not had the pleasure of meeting a Dragon Warrior in a .... fairly long time."
He sighed again " I am truly sorry that could not be of more help to you."

Val jerked his hands away and turned to Lionheart with fire in his eyes, "Who told you that!" He demanded in a controlled but angry tone. The boy had never named his path and was not happy of what the man knew without being told.

Lionheart quickly held his hands up in the universal sign of peace.
He laughed sheepishly "I um.... I know your Family Line. Fought beside them a few times as well."
He hoped he wasn't giving away to much about himself.

"My family is passive. We haven't fought any, but in training in hundreds of years. My Grandfather told me so himself and he never lies!"
Though his tone was stiff he mirrored the sign showing his acceptance.

Lionheart wanted to slap himself.
So he settled for slamming him head on the bar top. Hard.
What? Its not like it hurt or anything.
He mumbled under his breath "It WAS a while ago."
