Val flinched when addressed.
"We need to talk."
"Actually Val you rest here. Lionheart Dardus could you please see and old man such as myself to a room. It would be most appreciated. Valdrin seems to have a lot on his mind," he gave a weak crinkled smile.

Lionheart smiled kindly "Of course."
As he passed Val, he placed a friendly on his shoulder before proceeding to lend 'support' to an 'old man' with Dardus.

"Ah no need this ole man made it on his own two feets across the lands. You got no need to prop up these ole legs," he grinned widely as soon as he stepped out the door.

So, what do you wish to discuss with us?
Lionheart asked as soon as they were out the door, but still not trusting prying ears. Dardus at his side.

Finally the pair lead him to a room and he cast off the pesky illusion.
Kokio on flat foot stood nearly seven foot tall with broad shoulders and long ebony hair. His face was scared and grizzled like a man who had seen too much life to which it had. He was build like a oak tree big, strong, and solid. His skin was a tanned leather like color from years of to much sun and work. In him the true Dragon Warriors where epitomized. The blood had become thin in the last years, but with the banner flying it should thicken up he prayed.
"Your both aware that this was never over correct? Aris is stirring again and I fear some minor gods from other worlds may be teeming to join her. It is not good news and the Dragon is not content."

Lionheart sighed "As much as I wish this was over, yes. I have sensed the growing tensions."
Dardus frowned "Aris's attention is being pulled in different directions, which was the only reason I could shake her hold over me." He felt Lionheart's mood dampen and was all to happy to let him lean back on him for comfort. He knew what Lionheart feared most was being alone, and the time that Dardus was crazed had hurt Lionheart more then it had hurt him.
Lionheart looked up at Kokio "What are we going to do?"

"I honestly don't know. I was hoping you would have some ideas. I figured when I saw the banner flying, well heard tell of it I would return and see how thing's where. Knowing the pair of you I figured you wouldn't be to far behind another legend. I'm in one and old as the both of you. Older actually since back then I had lived a good ten years on the both of you before we got immortality," he shrugged his massive shoulders, "but I honestly never directly dabbled in the witches affairs and thought you two had a bit more experience."

They both looked at each other, sighed, and sat down in chairs that were in the room.
"Well," Lionheart started "I usually am proud to say that I knew very little of Aris, but I guess it is now a handicap. I was usually wandering in the night, fascinated by the 'strange' and 'unnatural' things that were deemed unsavory by Her."
Dardus smiled cheekily "While I had my attention drawn by a different beauty of the night."
Lionheart looked at him with confusion but looked back to Kokio.
"We did not follow her Teachings, but we noticed her flaws to her 'unrivaled perfection'. She was vain, ignorant, cared not for the damage she was causing, and treated us Humans like her play things that she could throw away when we did not amuse her." His fists clenched and he glared at the ground "It felt so good to taste her godly blood with my fangs."

"I am sure it did for you good Lionheart and Dardus you have always been single minded. Sadly I also was distracted by my people as you both know. I was a great shaman," he chuckled at the was knowing they both knew of his affinity with the mystic arts.
"Now my dear pretty boys Reila still lives. Yes the lover of my cursed days who followed Aris without question also walks. She goes as a gypsy traveler and from what I have heard no longer walks that path. If we can find her we may have a chance. She was close in the womans counsel."
((You where close in enemy counsel...so LOTR moment ^^))

Dardus grinned at the comment while Lionheart smiled softly.
They both were shocked to find that Reila still lived, how many people from that time are still lived?
"We should most likely get to her before Aris thinks of rallying 'old' supporters." Lionheart suggested.

"A good few actually boys. You are the only one's who fought for Reain I know of. Everyone knew I wouldn't die I have become the physical embodiment of the Dragon. Aris made a few to many immortal supporters as you know, but I don't think any beyond Reila live. At least I haven't heard yet."

Dardus glared "Didn't we used to have a rule about reading minds? About how it is rude and inconsiderate?" While Lionheart had a somewhat violated look on his face "You know we hate it when you do that."

"Boys of everyone you know me I have few scruples. Remember I was often not a good person even in my day. You only like me because I was a not good person on your side," he stood there looking down on the pair with a roguish grin on his face.

Lionheart ran both hands through his hair "REALLY hasn't lost his spunk."
Dardus scoffed "Hasn't lost his cheek ether."

"Ok. Now to be serious do we talk to Valdrin or not. I mean Val is a good kid, but how far can you two trust him. I remember him as a boy, but that was a long long time ago."
