That tingling filled the air, and awoke Sparrow from her light sleep.
Sure enough the girl was walking by.
"Greetings."

In one fluid Killa had raised her veil and drew her twin blades.

Sparrow simply stared from her 'bed' Her dull blue eyes half lidded, the fading light magnifying the shadows under them.
"I would have thought you would have sensed my presence, seeing as I can foretell your coming just by feeling the air."

Killa glared and resheathed the blades. Then turning to Sparrow she bowed deeply, "I greet you Sparrow. Lywn looks fondly upon you and blesses this encounter."

Sparrow groaned slightly as she stood and straightened, leaning back against the wall.
"So, what takes a Plains warrior from their beloved homeland and to the 'tradition-less' city?"
Her tone hinting that she already knew the answer.

Killa smiled sadly. "I'm Questing"
She slid to the ground and looked up at Sparrow contemplating the waves of deep sarrow that clung to her like grass on the plains.

Looking up to the sky, Sparrow hmm'd
"Questing huh? That is a pretty important event in the Plains." She looked down at Killa. "Have you found its meaning yet?"

"In heart I honor you. My trust for now be yours," she said with much severity as she unwrapped her shoufa and layed the cloth of over her knees. Leaving a mass of silver hair to tumble around her.
"Yes questing is important to us as plains people. Few hear the heart calling and in these last 18 years no child has heard the call. I am the first in a long while to start out on a quest. I have not found what my heart call is so I quest on."
She shighed.

Emotion flickered for a fleeting moment in Sparrow's eyes as Killa's silver hair unfurled, but was quickly erased. Memories of Old drawing to near.
"Do you have any clues or visions that will help drive you forward?"

"No I have something diffrent, but a powerful guide."
She sat for a moment thoughtfully, "What is the feeling you hide behind fleeting emotions and sorrowful eyes."

Both brows went up, but her eyes hardened. "A child would have no understanding nor would I ever tell the tale to one." Her eyes softened again, and she sighed. "Nor do I wish to hear it again myself." She muttered to herself.

"I've completed my name day cermony and am not considered a child. To call me one is an insult beyond beleif. I will not suffer you behavior towards me. Good night and fair dawn may Lwyn govern and guide you."
She stood and walked off, quickly wrapping her shoufa as she went and donning the thick veil.

Sparrow watched her leave, and as soon as she was around, lowered herself back down to the ground. A sad smile on her lips. "When you have lived as long as I have, almost everyone is a child." Memories from happier times played in her head and a real smile graced her lips.

Anger rolled of Killa. She could not stand being called a child. She was never allowed to be a child. The strangers who often spoke to her in her dreams and the odd spirits that often visited her assured that that she grew up quickly. Through these visitations she had lived a hundred lives. Touched by them all memories of there varied pasts had been left behind. It was a strange adulthood.
